According to the news it is reported that a substantial increase in the prices of petrol which will be anticipated for the fortnight commencing from 1st September 2025 which is as per a forecast by Management citing data from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority.

In the previous 1st August 2025 review the government had decreased the price of petrol by Rs7.54 per liter bringing it down to Rs264.61 per litre and the ongoing price of petrol from 16 August 2025 remains the same with no change in it and priced at Rs 264.61 per liter.
Government may provide some Relief from September 2025
Petrol rates remained elevated from the last two months in Pakistan post-budget taxation and due to global uncertainty.
